The 2014 vintage is officially undeway! Jenny Patridge' s Pinot Noir vineyard was the first one to see the harvesters arriving early this morning to pick the first of this season's crop, destinned for Jules Taylor 2014 Marlborough Pinot Noir.
The fruit we’ve seen so far looked really good. The flavour ripeness is ahead of the brix this year, so we can look forward to wines that are relatively low in alcohol but full of flavour.
Touch wood the weather is kind to us in the next few weeks so we can get all our fruit into the winery in top condition!
