Today we've got two (or actually three) reasons to celebrate at JTW. The first one being Jules' Birthday - Happy Birthday Jules!!! The second reason comes in a form of a double accolade for the two of our Sauvignon Blancs!
We are thrilled to announce that the Jules Taylor 2015 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and the Jules Taylor OTQ Series 2013 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc both received the coveted "Recommended by Cuisine" medals at the latest Cuisine Magazine tasting.
The 2013 OTQ Series Sauvignon Blanc placed in the top 10 (out of 177 wines!) and received 5 stars. It's a great recognition of this unique, wild fermented style...
This is a reserve wine Jules Taylor made very discreetly from special parcels of grapes. It’s a secret worth sharing – a fragrant, nectarine- and meal-laced, creamy textured delight. “It feels so unforced – it has been left to do its thing,” noted Jack Glover.
The "classic" JT Sauvignon Blanc received 4.5 Stars which is also a fantastic result!
Jules’s 2015 is a gem. It’s so pure and refreshingly citrusy (lemon verbena and lime zest, mainly) you feel you could almost bathe in it. It runs a tight, taut line from which it never strays. A great example of the classic Marlborough style.
Jules loves this wine because it is so expressive of the site where it’s grown. It's a grape that, within a row - and even within a bunch - has an incredible diversity of pure flavour.
