HAPPY PRAISE FROM THE FINE WINE LOVERS OF THE WORLD

Every now and then someone else likes one of the wines we make so much, that they give us an award for it.

JTW 2018 Marlborough Pinot Noir

A well crafted Pinot Noir with a bouquet of fresh, crisp and crunchy red fruits - cherry and wild raspberry , fresh cranberry and yellow plum. An easy and moderate layer of oak with scents of vanilla and a little clove. Dry, fruity, crisp textures with abundant acidity contrasted by just warm alcohol and flavours of red berries with an overlay of oak and oak spice. Balanced, well made, youthful and poised for ageing. Decant for service with best drinking from late 2020 through 2024.

JTW 2017 Marlborough Pinot Noir

Sourced from the Southern Valleys, Jules Taylor's 2017 Pinot Noir offers up smoky notes of grilled plums. It's medium to full-bodied but remarkably supple and fresh atthe same time, with additional notes of baking spices andred fruit coming through on the finish.

JTW 2017 Marlborough Gruner Veltliner

This is a fruity, likable wine, with fragrances of honey-flecked pear, peach, white flower blossom and white pepper. The palate is a delicious play between orchard fruit, creamy texture and chalky acidity, finishing on a sweet fruited, peppery note

JTW 2018 Marlborough Pinot Gris

Grown in the Awatere and Wairau valleys, the light lemon/green 2018 vintage (4.5*) was mostly handled in tanks; 5 per cent of the blend was oak-aged. Produced in a dry style (2 grams/litre of residual sugar), it is attractively scented and full-bodied, with vibrant, youthful flavours of pears, apples and lychees, gentle spicy notes, a touch of complexity and a smooth, lingering finish. Best drinking 2020+.

Fragrant, floral grüner veltliner, with classic citrus and green tea flavours. A precise, pure wine supported by a backbone of fruity acidity that gives the wine freshness and helps drive a lengthy finish
