Terms & Conditions


1.1. All products sold on the Jules Taylor Wines website are sold subject to these terms and conditions. The Customer should ensure that they have read them thoroughly prior to purchasing any products.

1.2. "Customer" means you and all other persons who purchase the products under your Login.


2.1. When purchasing products on this website the customer confirms and acknowledges that they are over 18 years of age and are legally entitled to purchase alcohol. The customer warrants that they can produce sufficient evidence (e.g. New Zealand Drivers License or Passport) of that entitlement on request prior to or upon delivery of the product.


3.1. Product prices are displayed in New Zealand currency only and are inclusive of GST.

3.2. A delivery fee which covers the costs of sending the customer's order by courier will be included in the total price at the time of purchase. Jules Taylor Wines is entitled to change this fee at any time and without prior notice.

3.3. Jules Taylor Wines may vary the prices of their products at any time without prior notice.

3.4. In the event that computer error results in a material misstatement of the Customer's order Jules Taylor Wines may require that the Customer pay Jules Taylor Wines the difference between the amount charged for the order and the correct amount payable.


4.1. The Customer shall make payment of each order by credit card. Jules Taylor Wines accepts credit card payments by Visa or Mastercard.


5.1. All products are sold subject to their availability while stocks last. Jules Taylor Wines accepts no responsibility for its inability to supply products to the Customer where the product is unavailable or where stock has been exhausted.

5.2. Jules Taylor Wines reserves the right to limit quantities of the product.


6.1. Jules Taylor Wines delivers to most locations within the North and South Islands of New Zealand and Australia. Jules Taylor Wines will endeavour to deliver the products to the specified delivery address in a timely manner. Jules Taylor Wines takes no responsibility for any failure to deliver, or delay in delivery caused by events outside of its control.

6.2. Property and risk in the Products shall pass to the Customer upon delivery to the Customer's delivery address.

6.3. Nothing in these terms and conditions entitles the Customer to refuse to take delivery or return the products as being surplus to their needs or for any other reason other than those agreed herein.

6.4. Jules Taylor Wines reserves the right to withhold delivery of the Products to the Customer for any reason whatsoever.

6.5. Advice regarding order shortages or damage in transit must be given to Jules Taylor Wines no later than five days after receipt of products.


7.1. The Customer may vary or cancel the order up to the point in time that Jules Taylor Wines has packed the order by contacting the Jules Taylor Wines office on +64 3 578 9831. Should the order have left the Jules Taylor warehouse already, Jules Taylor Wines agrees to refund the cost of product but not freight charges already incurred.

7.2. If for any reason, the Customer is dissatisfied with their order, they must contact Jules Taylor Wines within 7 days of receipt of the order on +64 3 578 9831 for assistance.


8.1. The Customers use of this website will generate certain information that will be recorded electronically by Jules Taylor Wines. Jules Taylor Wines will also record the Customer's contact details, credit information and any related personal details that the Customer supplies. Jules Taylor Wines will add the customers email to their mailing list.

8.2. The Customer acknowledges that Jules Taylor Wines' employees may use the information identified in the previous clause for purposes connected with the supply of services to the Customer. Such services include administration of the Customer's order or account on the website and keeping the Customer up to date with new offers at Jules Taylor Wines.

Jules Taylor Wines agrees not to disclose any of the Customer's personal information without the Customer's consent.

8.3. The Customer may at any time make a written request to see any personal information that Jules Taylor Wines holds or to ask to correct any mistakes in that information.

8.4. The Customer may at any time request that Jules Taylor Wines remove their details from the database.


9.1. The Customer acknowledges that by agreeing to receive promotional material they expressly consent to their inclusion in Jules Taylor Wines' direct marketing database and accept that they may, as a result, receive electronic communications and promotional communications from Jules Taylor Wines. The Customer has the right to ask Jules Taylor Wines at any time to stop sending online communications and promotional offers to them.


10.1. Jules Taylor Wines shall use its best efforts to prevent any unauthorised entry into the Jules Taylor Wines website. However, Jules Taylor Wines shall not be liable for any damage or loss whatsoever if any third party gains unauthorised access to the site.

10.2. The Customer is obligated to keep their login and password details safe and confidential at all times.


11.1. This website is provided for use by New Zealand residents. Jules Taylor Wines makes no representations that the website complies with the laws of any country outside of New Zealand.

11.2. These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any legal action against Jules Taylor Wines must be taken in a Court in New Zealand.

11.3. The Customer agrees that in the event of any legal dispute relating to these terms and conditions the parties will attempt to settle matters by way of mediation at first instance



We do not accept returns on change of mind purchases so please choose carefully.

We can only process returns for product purchased from www.julestaylor.com. If a you have purchased your product from a retail store or another website, they should contact them direct. For stockist contact details please visit our store finder.

We will only exchange products in which we deem to be faulty. Please contact us if you believe your wine is off/faulty.

Proof of purchase must be included with any returned product.

Postage charges on returns are at the cost of the customer and non-refundable.

Jules Taylor Wines is not liable for packages that are lost or damaged during the transfer. Once the package leaves our warehouse it is under the customers ownership and the customer/couriers’ responsibility. If you would like to make a claim for a lost or damaged order, please contact Post Haste directly.
