Celebrating a quarter century. As the sun rises over the vines on Godfrey Road, Marlborough, Jules Taylor is once again striding up and down the rows, sampling the tasty grapes that will make up her twenty-fifth vintage wines. Her first JTW harvest was on a morning like this back in 2001, and little did Jules anticipate the success she would see over the years. Sauvignon trophies in 2007 and 2010 at the Air NZ Wine Awards, Champion Chardonnay and Producer of the Year at IWSC 2012, and NZ Winemaker of the Year in 2021 have all endorsed her star winemaker status.

The 2022 “On The Quiet” Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from the beautiful Altimarloch Vineyard, one of the highest and most picturesque sites in the Awatere valley. This jewel of a vineyard, located 24kms inland, right on the terraces below the Black Birch Range, is one of Jules’ favourite spots.
