Jules created the OTQ Series in order to challenge the conventional wine making interpretations of Marlborough's signature varieties and create wines that express the unique character of their particular vineyard.
Last year was the official release of the newly branded packaging. Our ambition was to create something that would challenge what's long been the status quo in the wine industry - a bottle and label combination.
We've created a bespoke bottle with a beautiful screen printed illustration that takes its inspiration from the flora and fauna found in vineyards around Marlborough. This full wrap print is a unique innovation, not previously seen in New Zealand and Australia.
This year Jules is expanding her very special collection with a Pinot Noir Rosé and Chardonnay from two different vineyards in Marlborough.
Demand or desire does not determine the variety or quantity Jules will make of these wines each year - the creation of these wines are purely determined by the fruit quality and selection by Jules. This are wines of an exceptional standard and if she doesn't find these distinctive parcels of fruit, then she won't make the wine.
This is another testament to Jules overarching belief of 'belief over bottom line'.
